Welcome!

My name is Jasmine Milner and I am a graduate from The Art Institute of Las Vegas. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Audio Production and have had experience working in production doing both audio and video. I have also had internships working for a local radio and television station as a Production Assistant. I am always trying to challenge myself and want to learn more about this industry. After all, there are so many things you can do and I want to try them all.

About

Bio

I was daydreaming in an accounting class one day when I suddenly had the urge to write. I scribbled in my notes and four lines later, I realized that my passion was wasting away inside my heart. Later that night, I went home and finished the song and drafted a simple composition on the violin. I was always fascinated and inspired by the qualities of each genre of music that made them unique. I wanted to know more about the vibrations that we called sound. I spent my post-high school years uncovering all I could find.I found myself at The Art Institute of Las Vegas in the Audio Production program. I was unaware of the possibilities and spent much of my time trying to explore each avenue. I fell into audio for video at my first internship and loved every second of it. Throughout my time at The Art Institute, I grasped a variety of skills including video production, foley, and sound design.Moving forward, I am always trying to challenge myself creatively and technically. I intend to travel the many paths I have yet to wander and hope that my range of work can attest to a path well-traveled. Feel free to take a look. I welcome constructive criticism.

Project Description
Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee This the task for this project was to do a complete sound replacement for an open source movie or animation and create new orignial audio and mix for surround sound. The Restless"Follow" Instrumental Recording This was an istrumental music recording I did for a local band. The goal was to track , mix and master a song and attain the best recording possible for the genre.Ergo-Cuisine Commercial This piece was created to promote a new online cooking show. I did all the camera and editing, as well as the voice-over.Anna and Chris Highlight Reel This was a wedding that I shot second camera on. I also did the all of the editing. This is the highlight reel of the event.The Human Experience In this piece, I mixed and recorded an open mic session at an independetly owned coffee house. for a group of local artists, writers, performers, and poets.JRA Awareness I wanted to do a PSA for a Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. I did the original field recording, camrea operation, as well as the voice- over work to fix problem areas.
